History

I fell in love with language at a young age. I won a local poetry competition in my hometown of Santa Monica, California, when I was eleven, and from then on, I knew that whatever I did with my life had to involve the written word. I earned a bachelor's degree in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College and a master's degree in creative writing from the University of Oxford. Now I work as a freelance writer and editor with clients in both the U.S. and the U.K.

I edit books, magazines, articles, promotional material, and other copy for both print and online publication. My clients range from self-publishing authors new to writing to businesses including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Wildwood School, Mirman School, the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, and HistoryExtra Magazine. I also worked for many years as a ghostwriter for a psychologist, and my articles regularly appeared on PsychologyToday.com.

I still write poetry and fiction for fun, and you can see some of my published work on this site.

I am currently based in Oxford, England.
